2024 Publix – State Farm Build
April – August, Legacy Pointe, Murfreesboro
Thank you to Publix Super Market Charities and State Farm for sponsoring this Habitat House Build for Aiko and Cody! The build started in April and the House Dedication and Ribbon Cutting is August 29 at 4pm. Aiko and Cody have enjoyed working with volunteers from Publix and State Farm on their house.

Build Site: Legacy Pointe, 2842 Humanity Trail, Murfreesboro
Future Homeowners Aiko and Cody. Aiko went back to school and will graduate with a License to Teach this fall. Aiko and Cody welcomed their first child in 2020. They both work for Tru Hotel by Hilton. Homeownership is something that they both wanted, but it seemed like something they would not be able to achieve. When a family member mentioned the Rutherford County Area Habitat for Humanity Homeownership program, they began to hope. This home will be an important foundation to building a stable life for their family. Aiko hopes to have a beautiful garden like both her grandmothers, Cody plans to continue fostering his love for cooking, and their son is looking forward to putting a playset in the backyard.
